Bargaining

Bargaining a collective agreement is one of the most important things a union does. We generally bargain contracts for our six Units every three years. The membership is very involved in the process from beginning to end – electing the bargaining committee, filling out surveys so we know what members’ priorities are, speaking up at town halls and, finally, voting on whether or not to accept the new contract.
